I saw an article in "Outside" Magazine and in "Adventure" Magazine concerning the product Mioplex. As I sat there in the airport, in Dec awaiting my plane, thinking of my wife, I called and ordered the product thinking, what the heck, I'll try it. It didn't work for me. No big deal. That's the end of that.
Then, in April I notice a charge on my credit card bill for $59.95. What the heck is this? I ask my self. The same day, Friday evening, I receive a package from Boland Naturals, Inc. Not thinking about it, I open the package and find two bottle of Ogoplex. I try calling the company, but, you guessed it, they are closed!
I call first thing Monday morning and wait about 15 minutes on hold before someone answers. I am then told about the "automatic enrollment" into their "established customer membership" and their "great benefits. I explain to them that I DID NOT get their information in the package they sent me, I DID NOT order this product and would like a full refund. He denied me a refund and stated that I should have called prior to the shipment of the product.
I contacted the BBB of Cincinnati and found that there have been 92 complaints against the company. Also, "on February 13 the BBB received a letter from representation of this company stating that they have decided to modify their shipping policies, "effective immediately." According to this letter to the BBB, "the company has decided to eliminate the Established Membership Program completely."
Being that I was billed for the Ogoplex in April and the company is still enforcing their "established membership program" it appears me they have LIED to the BBB and to Me.
I want my money back.
