We went to this dentist because he was the only one taking patients on our dental plan. It turns out that's because he's a quack! After a long wait my husband and I were taken in for X-rays then the dentist came out to say our teeth were fine. He didn't even examine our mouths! We went in for a cleaning later and the hygienist just used an electric toothbrush and a fluoride rinse.
For our next exam we went to another doctor and he told us that we had a lot of work that needed to be done and it was plain as day on the X-ray. The problems had been allowed to worsen because Dr. Smiles missed them on the first "exam".
Don't go to him he's a complete fraud! I've also heard rumors of prescription drug abuse, who knows. But what is true is that he should be out of business and lose his lisence.
