On my AOL website, there was a testimonial about a teeth whitening come-on. It was a free sample. The mailing charge was $6.99, which I had to give my CC. There was no notification that I would incur future charges if I did not cancel my account within 14 days. When I called the 866-964-1011 number I spoke to someone of Indian decent, who informed me that if I cancelled my account and returned the merchandice, I would receive NO REFUND what-so-ever!
He did try to convince me that if I waited until the end of May, I would be charged $18.93 and could get back $60 of the $78.93 that I was charged.
Tried to speak to his supervisor, which he would not pass me on to. Not sure what to do next. Anyone out there know how to proceed with this??? This stinks!!!
