What is the "HireFireLiar" scam? I was reading the blog of another advertiser and he was writing about the warning he got from the FDA he got about a scam called the "HireFireLiar" scam and how the US government has warned advertisers about a slew of product scammers (particularily weight loss companies) who hire advertising for their latest weight loss scheme and if their product does not sell they don't pay for the advertising and leave you on the hook for the bill. Or another version of the same thing is that if they do pay the advertising upfront - they "Fire" you after all the work is done and advertising has been done and threaten to savage you if they are not given freebies or outright refunds for advertising so they can re-use the money to scam even more people.
Beware who you agree to work with.
