I was interested in trying the Acai xm & Regimex xm and thought for $4.95 for 14 day free trial was not bad. I did this on 2/27/09. On 3/2/09 the $4.95 charge showed up on my account. On 3/12/09 the charge of $89.97 posted to my account with a 3/10/09 transaction date. I did not get the 14 day free trial until 3/13/09.
I have been on the phone every afternoon since then trying to get this charge reversed and stopped. I've been told they didn't have any record of my transaction. I gave them all the information off of the packing slip from the free trial.
Today I thought that I might be getting through to getting this charge reversed. I was given a website address to go to and then I was given a CS Rep code to put in on the form with pass codes and then you submit. It comes up with a screen that says Thank you for your submission - One of our Customer Service Representatives will send you an email confirmation for your records.
It doesn't say anything about cancellation or anything. I asked about the credit on if it was going to be for the full amount of $89.97 and the guy said no he couldn't credit back the full amount - he could only credit back $20.00. I never received the email confirmation from them and I haven't received any other product from them to support the $89.97 charge. I asked to speak to a supervisor which I was put on hold and was left holding until 30 minutes after they closed and then it went straight to a automated system saying that they were closed and gave their hours of operation.
I don't belive I will be getting a credit back on this. I will be going to my bank tomorrow and I'm going to check on filing with the Attorney General office of North Carolina and the Better Business Bureau.
