I recently ordered a free sample of Wholebiotics from an on-line ad. After recieving the order I attempted to contact the company to cancel any future shipments as instructed on the paperwork included. The phone was never answered, even though I tried calling it for 3 days in a row.

I went out of town for a week and when I got back checked my credit card statement and there was a charge of $88 on my account. I called the phone number on my account statement and finally did reach a customer service person who told me that I had to pay the $88 because I had not called within a 14 day period to cancel the automatic shipment that I didn't know I had signed up for when I ordered the free sample.

The only way I can fight this charge is to cancel my credit card and let them deal with it. I haven't even had 14 days to try the product and was told by the customer rep that the 14 days starts from the day they ship it, even though it took 10 days to get to me.
This is in my opinion a rip-off scam designed to make it impossible for the consumer to even have an opportunity to try the product, let alone cancel since the phone number provided was not answered when called. All I can say is that I will never order any kind of products from any on-line ad again. I can only believe that they are all designed the same way to rip people off.
