I got a phone call from someone named who provide a her name, employee id, web address, my order confirmation number and verified my debit card information and my order. She stated to watch for an email in 24 hours from her company, and gave me the web address Acai Berry XL.
She verified that i have no obligation to buy any more after the free 30 day sample. I verified that i would not be charged automatically several times prior to giving my card information.
As soon as i gave my card information, she then said i would be automatically charged for a regular priced order without calling and cancelling within the 15 days.
The following day, I receive no email. I curiously check my balance on my card, and nothing was charged yet. I tried to call. The number led me to a company called SFL Nutrition, where I spoke with Megan Prager who informed me that no order existed with her company and that her company does not have id numbers, their conf. Numbers are shorter, but the number was for their company.
So, I try to look up the website for SFL Nutrition, which I did not find. The only thing that popped up when I put in SFL Nutrition, is the complaints.
I then put 2 and 2 together, and realize that both companies must be working together in scamming people out of their credit card info. I immediately reported my card info as stolen, which is the only way I could avoid them taking money from my account.
Fortunately, I had less than $10 in my account at the time I gave the info. It must not have been worth it to them to take, and I got my number switched before my direct deposit the following day. Thank GOD!
