I responded to an internet ad offering a free trial of Bromalite, for shipping charges only ($4.95). I did NOT complete the order because a pop-up indicated that I would be responsible for continuing charges of $69.95 per month. So, I exited out of the program.
Two weeks later, I received in the mail a TWO MONTH supply of Bromoalite plus a bottle of "Power Tea"... With no instructions on how to use either product. I went to my bank account, and discovered that I had been charged $34.95 for the tea (absolutely NOT ordered). I went to the Bromalite website to find out how I could return this, and found that essentially I can't.
I was given a phone number to call... But after being on hold for 15 minutes, I finally gave up... I don't know whether to mail this stuff back... And if I'll get a credit for it... Or not. I suspect that noone ever answers that phone, after reading all the complaints about the charges.
I will have to go to my bank tomorrow to cancel my debit card, and stop payment on any future charges. Do not order this stuff... It is a scam.
