I ordered a "free" samples of Bromalite and AcaiBerry Melt Away Tablets. Evidently Oprah thinks these are great products. Maybe she will pay the unauthorized charges on my credit card.
Both products were delivered by USPS. There were no invoices included and no instructions. One of the products did send a note with the telephone number to call if I wished to cancel after receiving my free sample. I called. I was informed that further orders would be cancelled, but I was still charged $89 for the one month (free) supply.
Bromalite is evidently untouchable. The telephone number indicated on my charge account statement is not valid. Their web site produces a blank page.
Hopefully, WaMu will be able to assist me in some way and at least not accept further charges.
If anyone has other suggestions I would like to hear them. I am kicking myself for being such an idiot and ordering products advertised on the internet. All I can say is: beware! I've learned my lesson.
