From an ad on TV and on the internet, I ordered samples for $4.95 S & H.
I specifically called the company, (Lean Green Tea) that I was ordering the samples and I DID NOT want to be put on auto shipping... Within weeks my credit card was charged with $69.87. I called Lean Green Tea. The person there told me they would remove the charges on 10-6-08. I was also informed that another charge was made on Sept 24th fro another $69.87.
I called again. I was told the charges would be removed. I called again the third time, spoke to a manager. Falon and shed told me the charges woudl be removed. As of this date the charges are still on my credit card. I have notified the bank, Visa. They seem to have their heads in the sand and told me I needed to fill out a report and that they would cancel my card.
I have reported this to the Consumer Department in Utah. If anyone wants thier address, here it is. (if you hve been ripped off) www.DCP. Utah. Gov
Print off the forms after you fill them out and fax them to the Utah Comsumer protection.
Also go to consumerboard.com and file a compliant so the public can learn from our mistakes. Let's put Lean Green Tea out of business.
