Advocare this company sells nat. Energy drinks, that are not fda approved

I took an Advocare energy drink this morning, and was told it would give me wonderful natural energy. On the contrary, it made me feel worse! It slowed me down, and put me in a bad mood! I wonder if it mixed badly with my high blood pressure meds? Does anyone else know about these products?
