Ranjita Sharma Worst Place to Work. Would not advise for physician care

As a concerned citizen I find it would be valuable to report the poor business practices and conditions of a previous employer that I left for this very reason, feeling uncomfortable with their inability to conduct business with patients and employees in a proper manner at Palm Beach Primary Care of Wellington. There is probably six months back up of medical records to be released to other physicians and lawyers. There is an inability to properly serve the public in this office with a lack of concern, concentration, attention, or proper care of patients. Patients almost always wait at least two hours to see the doctor if not three or more. This office is always required to be overbooked by the office manager. The office manager often changes the rules and regulations on employees resulting in fewer hours or not paying for hours worked. Prescription refill requests are often completed days later if at all. The office is very under staffed, and stressed because of the huge work load. No one is happy with anyone. It is close to impossible to reach anyone by phone or fax. The proper address of this practice has not been updated with many insurance companies. The doctor will refer any patient with the slightest problem to specialists, and other places for as many tests as possible. The lack of organization trickles down from doctor to the last employee. This doctor works with local nursing homes that he refuses to visit causing them to be cited for conducting doctors orders without doctor signature, but he is never there to sign anything. Patients are always late on care, or lacking proper supervision of their health problems. It is by far one of the worst places to work, everything from the doctor and management is pushed off onto the other employees even if it is not their job or they are not qualified to properly conduct that task. Training to employees is minimal and it is obvious the manager cannot manage her life, let alone an office. Records are not up to date or complete, due to many of the employees lack of ability to use the computer program. The management also refuses the proper equipment needed to employees to properly conduct their jobs. I hope people will avoid this headache of dealing with this place all together as an employee or patient.
