Defective merchandise and recurring monthly billing Van Nuys

The order did not arrive on time even though my wife's credit card had already been charged, when my wife called to inquire someone with an unintelligible accent told her that it was back ordered. My wife asked them to cancel her order and was told that it had been shipped the previous day. After several more days of waiting and another call to India she was assured that the product was on it's way.

When it finally arrived the DVD's that came with it were defective, one did not work at all and another had the audio and video out of sync. Rather than hassle with returning it my wife just chalked it up to bad luck. Then yesterday she received another package in the mail, which she did not order, containing several more DVD's (one of which has the audio out of sync with the video) and immediatly checked her credit card to find she had been charged for these products which she had not ordered. She immediatly called Bender Ball only to be routed overseas again and spoke with a customer service rep unwilling to help. I had her immediatly dispute the charges to her credit card and cancel the card so that more charges could not be made. My wife assured me that nowhere in the ordering process did it mention recurring billing or automatic monthly shipment of products,

I am posting this in the hopes other consumers don't fall into this deceptive billing trap. Buyer beware!!!
