Ordered Think & Loose on May 1st (Saturday morning) called the
1-800-530-3058 number on television.
This takes you to a out going/interactive fake person to order the program.
The switch is, it forces you to sign up for vitamins you don't want. These vitamins auto-matically deduct X amount of dollars from your account every 60 days.
In our case:
1. We ordered the $39.99 program with the snail mail shipping at $8.99 dollars (4 to 6 weeks delivery).
2. They were suppose to bill for a full 30 days after arrival, (not shipping date).
3. The $39.99 order plus the $8.00 shipping, turned into an immediate deduction from our bank for $142.80 cents!!!
4. We cancelled the order immediately, and were told by Don Mannarino's corperation, that they wouldn't ship the item ordered.
5. They also told us, that they were going to mail us return label even if it did mangage to be sent to us. 1-800-530-3058 (turns out to be the fullfillment house).
6. On May 15th, sure enough the darn thing showed up. When we called to get the label to send it back, suddenly they didn't give out return labels, and told us to mail it back at our own expense!!!
7. Because of this scam. We are not longer using our ATM Debit card anymore. We are going to cash, if we can't buy it for cash, we won't buy it period.
8. The bank didn't want to really reverse the $142.80 charges on our account. We had to make serval phone calls and still will have to follow up for the next year!
9. We are complaining to the Dept of Justice of our state, and the state Dan Mannarino's business is located.
Hopes this helps someone!!! If we had just Googled this guy's name, BEFORE ORDERING, we could have avoided all of the cow fritters we have been going through.
