Walked into Lenscrafters store for 1st time glasses—waited forever when I realized people who came in after I did was being seen by the optometrist. Now I had checked in when I enter the store—I approached the front desk & they had forgotten to put my name down. I waited even longer.
When I finally was seen by the Dr. She was rude & acted like she just did not have the time to deal with me. I made statements asked her questions & she was just down rude. She finally wrote me two prescriptions & proceeded to see one of the sales clerks for frames for the glasses.
Now, my glasses were for distance and bifocals—the clerk informed me that if I obtained glasses with lineless bifocals I would have to move my head back & forth when reading that I would not be able to just read by moving my eyes—that there was only a small narrow area that I could see through & I would have to constantly move my head to read—thus I purchased 2 pairs of glasses.
Now, after months of switching back & forth with glasses I found out this was totally incorrect that the entire lower part of the lens is the bifocal.
I am now stuck with the inconvenience and the fact that the Dr. Just did not want to help me & lister properly to my problem. The one problem that bothered me was that I have a problem with night vision and she totally disregarded anything I said.
Lenscrafters is a ripoff/joke.
