United Medical Network - Joe Langer
Deception, Scam, and Misreprentation are what they appear to do

There appears to be a high likelihood that United Medical Network is a scam. Misrepresentation and fraud. Please proceed with caution. I was ready to invest $12 k or possibly $24k. They have what appears to be an excellent model that should produce a successful business, and if I could ever find out that it is credible, I would still consider investing.
However, the company has had several scam reports on this website. Since they seem to offer distributors just enough money to remove there scam report, and therefore these reports may not stay on this site I have copied them and will either publish them myself, or provide copies to anyone who requests them.

After going over the program with the company President, Joe Langer, and frankly being impressed with the model, I asked him about these scam reports. He immediately, stopped pursuing this opportunity with me and said he had to get the scam reports off the internet before he proceeds. Upon information and belief, he gives the distributors enough money to convince them to remove there scam report, but does not give them a total refund.
He in fact said he settled with a man from New England, whose scam report said he bought an area in New England, only to find out that someone else had bought 70% of that area a week earlier. I believe he gave this person 50% back to get the scam report off the internet. My own review of their documents suggests that they do not use the word exclusive in the documents they request you sign in exchange for the $12k or $24k they ask you to invest. So, they can place competition against you as soon as someone else is ready to pay them money.

That persons scam report suggests that they were told successful distributors are making over $300k and his research suggests that in fact, most distributors abandon the distributorship in a few months after realizing that the medical and wellness community are not interested in the UMN program.

A prevailing theme of all the complaints is that they are referred to two or three existing distributors, but the company will not give out any other names. The prevailing consensus is that these three distributors are not telling an accurate story and may not actually be distributors. I spoke to two distributors who claimed to be making a lot of money and i question there credibility.

Another prevailing theme is that there are either other distributors in the area sold to them, or they sell the area to someone else, and keep your money.
Another scam report suggested that it was also represented that some distributors were making over $300k, but that person claims that they found out that they do not exist.

Another scam report suggests that they found out the lab was not certified as represented and the quality of the supplements was really shoddy.

There are other warning signs that I have experienced.
1. The recruiter, who saw my resume on Monster, represented himself as an independent recruiter from a different company. I later figures out he was calling from the exact same number as United Medical. Why the deception?
2. The references will not call me back now that I have raised these issues.
3.instead of providing me information that will help prove these complaints inaccurate, Joe Langer, President told me he is stopping the recruiting process until he gets these things off the internet. However, when I called the recruiter, he seemed to still be recruiting for United Medical Network. Despite the fact that they have the same phone number, the recruiter again today said his recruiting company was independent.
I have copies of these complaints and will be happy to provide them to anyone who asks.
They focus on the amount of money you can make and very little about the quality of the product.
I suggest that you speak to some of the successful distributors, make sure they are credible, check the quality of the products, and get an exclusive territory in writing.
When United Medical proved to me that there company is credible, I will remove this complaint.
