I have also been a victim of this fraudulant company. It did take me 5 months to figure this out, but I am like thousands of normal people in this world.
I only check bank statements when I feel I have a problem with my account. Obviously, It's not very often. Well, my husband was asking me today as I was home for a lunch break about his checking account.
I then went on line to our bank and starting checking it and low and behold, here's another 29.99 taken out. Now mind you, I had purchased this 1 time weight loss system for 29.99 back in September and here it is Feb. 08.
But funny thing is they hadn't taken anything out for the month of February. I just happened to be in January's statement and noticed this Ultra Slim deduction for another 29.99. I then called the bank and the teller researched my account and said, "Yes, this has been coming out of your debit account since September."
When I asked her what I could do to get this money back she said not much because they can only go back 30 days and the last time your account was deducted the 29.99 from Ultra Slim was on January 15th, and because it was a debit account and not a credit card we can't stop them from charging you again.
Meaning no stop payments on debit accounts. And the debit card (visa) company won't do charge backs. So, I tried calling the number the bank gave me for Ultra Slim, which is the same number on the site, It says this number is no longer in service!
So now I am not only still in need of a diet pill that actually works, I could have actually taken that 150.04$ and actually spent it on something I could use and actually have posession of. If anyone who reads this has a number that actually works, I would appreciate you putting it up.
