SRC provides health insurance for Todays Staffing, a temp agency. I stopped working for Todays 03/05 and worked for another company for 2 years and 8 months. I began working for Todays again 12/07 and $204.12 was deducted from my pay for health insurance, without my permission. I've contacted them and Todays several times for my money back, to no avail.
Since I hadn't worked for Todays Staffing for 2 years and 8 months, I don't think SRC should be able to automatically resume deducting insurance premiums from my pay without my permission. My employment with Todays had ended 03/05, which should include any insurance through them.
The premiums they deducted from my pay in 12/07 would not even cover what the current premiums are. The cost of insurance has of course, gone up.
I would like my $204.12 back that they took. I've tried calling them and Todays Staffing several times and haven't accomplished anything. SRC claims that as a service to temp agencies, they automatically resume health insurance deductions.
I could understand this if there were a few months in between jobs, but not after almost 3 years and being employed by another company with their health insurance-not SRC/Aetna.
I wonder if anyone else has had this problem.
Is there any way I can get my money back?
