P. Darryl Brown, Owner and CEO along with Richard Scruschy, Both HealthSouth executives, formed Nations Pharmaceuticals in Birmingham, Alabama as a sales force to provide in house dispensing of pharmaceutical repackaged medications to physicians to dispense from their offices to save the patient time and money.
I was offered a position as a sales director with a "very attractive" salary and benefits package. I was employed by one of the top three repackagers and I had 70% of the southeast Market covered and Darryl Brown "LURED" me into Nations to get my accounts, but they were not being transferred quick enough, so Darryl hires another "Ex HealthSouth Executive" Susan Henninger to come in and "Micro Manage" the Saled division and according to her she was not being paid a salary at all. Go Figure, who works for free??? May 28, I called in to advise the company I was going into the hospital for "Open Heart Surgery" the next day. I reported this to Suzzane Henninger. Two hours later, Suzzane calls me on the phone and tells me that Darryl advised her to let me go because the company could not afford to pay me any longer. I asked about my contract and she stated that "contracts were made to be broken" and darryl advised her to tell me I would not receive any more money at all from Nations Pharmaceuticals. Darryl would never return my calls and has refused to fulfill my contract. Darryl Brown has also refused to pay one of their main vendors, "Palmetto State Pharmaceuticals of South Carolina", $250,000 owed for medications.
Are contracts that easy to be broken because you can't afford to pay the contracted employee??? Darryl sent me a certified letter and asked for me to reimburse the company for the premiums of Health coverage that was used for my surgery!!!
