Don't go to this place. They will rip you off. I never had any dental problem and have been regularly visiting my previous dentist. I changed my insurance and was told that my previous dentist was out of network. Therefore, I went to Pasadena Dental Plus to continue my six month regular cleaning. I was told that I need all kinds of dental works and treatments which costs more than $2,000. Since it was too expensive and my insurance does not cover the treatment they recommended, I went some where else.
You know what I was told... I dont' have any problem which I was told by Dental Plus and don't need any treatment except my regular dental cleaning. To me the people at Pasadena Dental Plus are just doing organized crime. They will tell you that you have all kinds of problems and will force you to listen what other three people who have given up their profession for money to say. They will waste your time. They will force you to watch video tape. They don't even ask your permission. They will tell you to buy their product which is "only available at their office, and don't exist any where else in the world." The estimated cost for all of their recommendation is about $2,000 plus. They will take x-ray more than a recommended number. Your insurance in most cases won't cover so many films. They have outside billing agency which don't coordinate with them properly.
Before, they bill the insurance company, the bill comes to you even if you give them your insurance information. Even if after you pay the bill, you will receive so many bills. They don't have proper coordination with their billing agency. Before, you know it they will mess up you credit. I think california consumer affair should do some thing to stop them before they mess up people's credit, and do unnecessary expensive dental work.
