Our story is the same as others who have been victims of misrepresentation - or outright fraud. We ordered a "free trial" and our credit card was charged for shipping, as agreed — $5.49, on 12/1. Our Visa credit card company fraud department phoned 12/15 - two weeks later - to report activity they found suspicious — a $69.95 from this company. We find it suspicious too - and apparently for good reason.
This company got our CC number, charged "shipping, " and waited two weeks, apparently, to charge us $69.95 for the "free" (or who knows what?) sample which, as this is written at 4:30pm 12/15, we have not yet received. There was no indication in their "free sample" solicitation that there was any further obligation.
We were willing to presume that this was merely an error until checking out this outfit on the internet, as we should have BEFORE ordering. The evidence points to this being a scam, not just a bookkeeping error.
Buyer beware indeed
