My wife and i have vision insurance, to cover eyeware and testing, pearle vision is covered under our plan and a provider, after examination my wife allowed pearle to swipe our visa card for $634.00, she called me and told me that they wouldn't process the charges thru the insurance company, i told her to cancel the order, they said they credited our account, instead they took 2 more charges against my account of $387.48 and $380.97, the total was $1404 with drawn from our checking account, the visa card is with.
I contacted our bank who stated that there are problems with this pearle vision location having taken more money than entitled to with several of the bank's customers. Now a day later we are still with out our funds, I contacted the assistant manager and shared with her that the bank would require the store to fax to them on their letter head that the funds wouldn't be processed, thus returning the money where it belonged, i put the funds in for x-mas shopping for the day and pearle has put an end to our gift collecting because of there error.
Still nothing, another day goes by, as we wait for the abilty to purchase x-mas presents for our 10 grandchildren.
I run a retail company and if one of my employee's made a mistake like this it woild be corrected immediatly. They certinaly have exceeded my expectations with the thier customer service and satisfaction.
