Charges for personal trainer appeared on my visa. I did not sign a contract or authorize any charges to my VISA. I tried to call the number listed on the visa bill. Automated voicemail with NO way to speak to a person. I called LA fitness in Waterfordlakes and was told the trainer was on lunch and he would call me back. He did call me back, saying that the "Corporate Headquarters" would call me within 2 hours. I waited. They did NOT call. I called VISA. They will be removing the charges, but I need to warn other people.
My son used their personal trainer for a few months in early 2007 (8 months ago) but cancelled as he did not feel it was worthwhile.
I have NO idea how LA Fitness even got my account number, as my son does not even know the number. It could be a problem at VISA accounting.
The facts is that LA Fitness is fraudently charging people for services that are NOT being offered. The sleazy way that this has been handled by LA Fitness and Body of Change with phone contact impossible is criminal and shameful. BEWARE!!!
