I lost count at the number of times the word "FREE" (in extremely large and colorful letters) appeared in the web site of this secretive and underhanded business. But when reading the very fine print at the end of the web page, I see that this unethical, not to mention rude and unpleasant, company took great pains to threaten (anyone who had missed the part about charging $29.99 a month to be a "member") not to attempt to reverse charges.
Interestingly enough, any legitimate business would have had no need to make such threats, or to withhold information when asked. While on the telephone with the so-called Customer Representatives, I asked two very simple questions: 1) who is the owner 2) how large is this company. To the first question, I was told "Terry G." is the owner, but the last name is not something I should be privy to.
When asked how many people worked in "Terry G.'s" firm, I was flatly informed that that information was none of my business. Why the secrecy?
Now, I am out $90.00 for not catching the withdrawals, and Terry G. And club are a little bit richer. This company has to stoop to taking money out of the accounts of unsuspecting women looking for a little help in weight loss, and rather than treat those people who get screwed by them with dignity, they are rude and without compassion.
