Last week someone stole my credit card off an online transaction I made. One of the things that was fraudulently purchased on my card since was a "free" sample of this product, which was charged $6.95 for shipping.
I called this company and explained that I had not made the transaction, that I am working with my credit card company to resolve the issue. I said I would return the product unopened, as I had not ordered this.
I spoke with the rudest customer dis-service rep I had ever spoken to, who informed me that without a "police report, detective name, and telephone number", they cannot reverse the charge. I explained that since I live in IL and they are in NV, I was already informed by my credit card company that the FBI would need to be involved. Since the total of the fraud isn't much, I doubt the FBI would find the time.
The person in their customer service department just kept repeating this phrase over and over, no matter what I said, until I hung up.
Before you order ANYTHING from Steel Bridge Medical, ask yourselves what kind of a company would require all this to PROVE you were taken advantage of.in addition to the paperwork and aggravation I am already experiencing, I am now out money I never spent because of this company's ridiculously strigent return policy. They must be very desperate to keep their sales once they are made. Why? If they had a quality product, they would not resort to these kinds of measures. It's not about the money - it's about the fact that they allow fraudulent transactions and they basically tell you it's YOUR problem, not theirs.
Do yourself a favor, avoid this company like the plague. They are dishonest, rude, and obviously lacking in integrity. Pass it on!
