I went to America's best to get their 2 pair special. I was really excited when it cost me for two pair of glasses, what it would usually cost me for one pair. They told me it would take 7-10 days to get my glasses in and if I had not heard from them by the 10th day, that I should call them.
SO... On the 10th day I called them since I had not heard from them yet. The rude lady on the phone said "Well, did we call you?" I said "No, but I was told to call on the 10th day." She said, "Well ma'am, if we didn't call you, then your glasses are not ready." I told her that I was just doing was I was told to do and asked her nicely to go check for me. She said "HOLD ON!"
She got back on the phone about 10 minutes later and said, "Your glasses are here and are ready to be picked up." And then she hung up on me. That is some first class customer service there.
I drive about 20 miles to go pick up my glasses. I get there, wait for about 20 minutes and no one can seem to find my glasses. I explained that I just got off the phone with someone 30 minutes ago and they told me that they were ready. They checked again. Still nothing. Finally, after 30 minutes of sitting around, they found only one pair. When I asked where the second pair was, they said, "You only ordered one pair." I said, "No... I ordered two pair" and showed them my reciept. The person apologized and said that the second pair was never ordered and that she would put a rush on it. I was fine with that.
A week later, I called to ask if they were ready. They said "You already picked up both pairs." I said, "Um... I don't think so. I picked up ONE pair last week since the other pair had not been ordered yet." They told me that I would need to pay for another pair if I wanted them to order them.
This time I asked for a manager. She was extremely helpful. She assured me that she really would "rush" my order. She called me about 5 days later telling me my glasses were ready. I went there to pick them up, however, they were the same glasses I picked up two weeks ago. She apologized and told me I could keep that pair for free. That was really nice of her.
She put the order threw and I finally recieved my glasses. Another issue I have is that these damn glasses are almost inpossible to clean. I have used everything and anything I could think off. Not to mention, they scratch easily. Not only did i have to wait almost two months, they sold me a crappy product.
