Today my 2yr old daughter got into their tooth polish. Now I purchased their products with the idea that they are safe for children... Wrong... I just got back from the ER... The tooth polish has no warnings on the box or tube not have around children and to think this is supposed to go into your mouth... My daughter got into it and spread it on her stomach, legs, arms, and was almost going to eat it - I caught her just in time!!!
She swelled up and got HUGE welts all over her body... We had to call 911 and be rushed to the ER via ambulance. They said we should be glad to have caught her before she ate it... Otherwise she would have a swollen throat and loss of air... She could have DIED from tooth polish (toothpaste) She has eaten Crest w/bakingsoda and peroxide in it and had no problem - just a minty smell.
I called them to state my situation... They said 'Sorry' and offered to replace the tooth polish... REPLACE the tooth polish... I am throwing all their products out... I now have to fight to cancel my 'membership'... (it would be easier getting a root canal done then to cancel with this company!!!) I have a $400 ambulance bill, not to mention the ER cost and all they can say is 'Sorry, but we can send you another tube of out TOXIC paste!' Oh for all those that can't believe it I took pictures before the medics got here! So all those on the Melaleuca bandwagon can forget about praising their products etc. Safe for children my butt!!
