I have a 2011 F150 the chrome on the bumpers, step bars are showing small spots of rust. I have used chrome polish to remove these spots and a short time later they appear again. I took this to my dealer and pictures were taked and sent to ford. The claim to replace these parts were denied because the rust could be removed with polish and was told to polish these parts every 3000 miles. My old truck was 7 years old when I traded it in the the chrome on it was perfect unlike the one I currently have. I believe that word of mouth is the best advertising and I have nothing good to say about how this was handled.
