DO NOT believe that they will honor any kind of refund promised in any infomercial, internet ad etc.
I have tried for nearly 7 months to get a refund. Sent my original materials back within the 30 day trial period via Registered/Signature on Delivery / Receipt. Which I HIGHLY recommend to all of you trying to get a refund.
I have spoken to over 6 different individuals in 6 months before being transferred to a gentleman named 'Sayed' in what they call their "QUALITY Management Dept" (his direct number is (602) 265-5540 and just enter his extension 112 to get immediate access to his voicemail. Despite soothing conversations and again a promised refund in full, still no $ has been credited back to my credit card.
I believe Don Lapre's marketing strategy is to wear us down, to get those of us trying to get our money back to give up and get tired or perhaps forget about the money owed us.
What you CAN DO to get a refund:
1) DO not give up; be proactive. Contact the Phoenix BETTER Business Bureau and file a complaint on line. It's easy and takes just minutes. I could not believe that the company report didn't have more complaints filed against them. As consumers we must get the word out about these kinds of SCAMS!
The BBB will contact the company on your behalf to request your refund. At the very least the company will get your official complaint and it will register on the BBB web site for others to see.
2) Contact your CREDIT CARD company as soon as possible. Even though I waited 6 months, they still opened and filed an official dispute against the Greatest Vitamin company. They also gave me an immediate temporary credit for the full amount. They ultimately have more power and a bigger voice than I do as one consumer.
I am wishing all of you the best of luck and full refunds from Don Lapre's BIGGEST scam. I am hopeful that after filing my complaints today that I will get my $627.60 back!
