They took $49.95 out of my personal checking account without authorization.
When I called to find out who they were, I first thought it may have been an herbal/vitamin Co. I dealt with in the past, so I quoted a 37.00 amount debited.
When I realized it was not a company I had ordered from 3 months prior, I asked them who they were and why did they go in my account. They insisted that I authorized their debit for insurance and coupons. I then knew it was a scam, as I have great insurance already through the Dept of Education.
I then asked for a copy of the transaction to be mailed to me ASAP. That is when the female operator said that they would refund my account at Bank of America in a few days.
I told them that if I didn't see it, I would report them.
So... Here is the report. As of 5/3/07... 7:00PM, no refund is in my account.
