My health insurance carrier notified me that any "maintanence" prescription that I take which is over 3 months in term must be purchased through Medco! If I use my local pharmacy they will nail me with an outrageous co-pay of $50 per prescription! Where is our government who is supposed to be "legislating" instead of "corporate America" writing the rules and regulations?
This company has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my 52 years of life! The right hand doesn't have a clue what the left hand is doing! No one in the customer service division is capable of making an informed decision about anything! Getting to speak with a "HUMAN BEING" is as time consuming and fustrating as it gets if even possible at all! I even attempted to "FAX" my request without success! They fail to answer anything whether on the phone, fax, or e-mail! I have attempted to mail my concerns now to the "Office of the President of Medco" to see if he does anything other than take my money and run!
I can only say that I would give considerable thought before engaging in any business transactions with this firm! I intend to return to my local pharmacy and pay the out-of-pocket co-pays just to get my blood pressure back under control from dealing with this totally incompetant firm! Beware!!!
