Control the intensity of their lasers to prolong results requiring more treatments and RIPPING YOU OFF!

In the middle of treatments they switched equipment, so my treatment was going to almost double in cost.

Here's what happened... I went in for an initial consultation, and received a botox injection, bought some skin care products. Was very happy with the results. Then 5 mo. Later I was thinking about a franchise op, got the literature. Had another appointment for botox and asked what they would suggest for my skin to help slow the aging process and maybe even reverse a bit.

We decided on a 5 treatment package of a combination of photo facial and collagen rejuvenation done in one session 3 weeks apart. They told me I could pay $2100 or pay $450 each as I went, I would still be paying the same. With no real benefit to pay up front, I choose to pay as I went (of course).

The first treatment was great. However the botox injection that I received didn't seem to have been as effective, as I could still see the lines in between my eyes and before I could not. Yet I had paid for the same amount of botox as before. When I asked about the weak effects, they told me usually it works better the second time.?!?

The second treatment seemed to pull out some sun damage, not as much as the first time because my face didn't react right afterward like the first treatment. I felt the magnitude of the laser was turned down (I never complained about pain, so it wasn't due to that). I then referred a good friend of mine to Dermacare. She went for consultation and asked for the same thing I had.

She said they pulled my chart out in front of her and looked at it and gave her the combination treatment I had been receiving. She said she had to pay up front $2100.

Then the third visit, they tell me that they no longer can do the treatments I was getting because they no longer have the machine that they were using for my treatments. What did this mean to me? That I would have to buy 3 more photo facials and 3 more collagen rejuvenation treatments to get the same results as I would have received from the "old" machine.

So that day, I received a photo facial on this "new" machine. My eyebrow was burned off. The Dr. Said I could pencil it in. I had made another appointment before I left from this treatment. The treatment had absolutely no effect on my face. It wasn't even red (like the other treatments in the past). No sunspots came to the surface. When I went for this treatment, there were places where you could see some sun damage and they were still there a week afterward.

After talking to my friend about this she told me the next time she went in, she was offered a treatment program of 5 photo facials, 5 collagen rejuvenation treatments plus 5 microderm abrasions for her $2100!

Extremely frustrated, I put on the numbing cream they had given me and drove 13 miles to my next appointment. I told them the last treatment did nothing at all. I asked about the package my friend had received and I reminded them what they had told me about paying as I went or all up front it would be the same price. They left the room for 30 min and returned to say that the manager would call me later. And there would be no treatment today.

This upset me, I have a business to run, and this was a gross waste of my time. It appeared that I was wasting my money as well. The manager called me and offered to give me the same deal as my friend - minus the 5 microderm abrasions for $900. Needless to say, I haven't been back.

Their business practices are very unprofessional and inconsistent.in doing research about your franchise opportunity I have learned about general procedures and treatment regimens.

I have questions like..."Will the remaining treatments be a waste of my time because the person doing the treatment won't turn the laser up high enough to get results?" "Will they change machines again before I've completed my package?" "If I refer another friend will they treat her like they treated me?", "What will she pay?", "Will I ever refer another friend?", "Why do they seem to be so unorganized?", "Is it the parent corporation offering no consistent support and keeping them in the dark?"
