Just like everyone else here, I was wanting to quit smoking. I called in for the amazing offer of $5.95 and got the order. Then I called in to cancel future shipments and thought that all was well. Until October 20th, they charged my card $99.85 for a shipment that I did not authorize.
I called the Bank and they cannot help me at this point because the charge is still pending. What am I supose to do? Let them continue and finalize the charge? I will never see my money again if they get that far. How many of you got to it before the completion of the charge? The charge was just done today.
The Bank says "I have to wait until the charge is complet before I can dispute it." Wont it be too late by that time? I would think so. The Bank says "It's against the law for them to stop the charge." Against the law? I thought it was my account. I must be mistaken. I checked my card to check my balance, and it was gone $99.85. That is not chump change to me, a single mom, that depends on the money to be where I left it. I thought it would be worth a try, and guess what, it did not even work.
It did not help me to quit smoking. I read all of these complaints about the company and I realize I will not see my money again. I will not stand by and let this happen though. I am on the phone first thing in the A.M. And I am reporting them. I wish that I could afford an attorney, shoot, a class action should be brought against them.
