I went to see this dentist and he recommended that I do an implant for 3,000. I pre-paid $1,000 april 20. I changed my mind the next day and cancelled it the next day.
After several weeks of requests of refund and counter - requests by this office that I do other work I called again for my refund.
The secretary there, Stacy, told me it would cost me 375 for cleaning, x-rays and model of my mouth. The x-rays and cleaning were covered by my plan, so she said it would cost $300 for the mold after I explained that to her. She hung up on me after I asked if I could have a bill, and she said they didn't have to send me a bill they are slick.
They eventually credited me $750 after 6-8 weeks on my credit card!!! And I got a bill in the mail for 250$ for general purposes??? They are saying it's for a mold but no mold was mentioned until that last conversation in June; no mold I ever heard of costs $250.00
There is no one to help with this as that dentist does not belong to any of the state or national dental associations. Beware of Florida businessmen, they are such crooks... As far as when he had the mold made (I think after that last phone call) since I don't know what lab they used I can't prove it and it's my word against his. Tough luck on me, but all others be warned...
