I feel very sad to write this as I am sure for some people the Farrell Hair System has given them their lives back. But my experience has been very disappointing. I am a young woman who has had fine-ish hair all her life.
I have worn hair extentions for many years but after seeing an article in a magazine I thought that the farrell system sounded excellent as I could go swimming and not have to fuss so much about my hair.
It was an expensive choice but one which I thought would give me freedom and save me money long-term. But the system is not realistic - its looks wiggy, it feels heavy almost like wearing a hat. The glue/lace front is messy/time consuming and it lifts up all the time even when doing simple things like running fingers through the hair.
I don't think it has anything to do with the way I'm using it as even when I was in the Salon I noticed these problems. Very very distressed by this - as I now I have the problem of having to grow my own hair back to feel 'okay' again.
I would advice people especially women that unless they have alopecia totalis or something similar that this is not the easiest or best option.
