UnitedHealthcare, MAMSI harassment continues after three years of trying to resolve

I had to go to a hospital by ambulance after being in a car accident that wasn't my fault. MAMSI/UnitedHealthcare is harrassing me three years later to pay them for the hospital bill.

I've gotten letter after letter from their Sr. Subrogation Coordinator, William — , who has ignored my phone calls and faxes, and has yet to provide me with an explanation of why I am being asked to pay this bill. He has all the documentation he needs, including the police report, to get payment from the driver who caused the accident.

To make matters worse, at one time he or someone in his office told me I was responsible for the entire amount of the visit, and not just the amount that MAMSI/UnitedHealthcare actually paid. That sounds like health insurance fraud to me.
