I started by doing surveys for money. It evolved into product testing (free samples, then you cancel. It was BS to start with). I was supposed to get paid like 12 bucks to try leanlook rx for 7 days.in order o cancel i was supposed to click a link that would take me to a cancellation notice. The wep page for cancelling did not exist. Next, i was supposed to send an email to customer service (which i have lost since then).
That email did not exist and returned a "error message" stating that the email address was not valid. Next, I called a number that they had. When i called that number i got a message that said the number has changed. This happenned 3 times (meaning i had 4 different numbers) i finally got a number that worked, then i got am answering machine that said the mailbox was full and i could not leave a message. I called another number and was told that they didn't have my account.
The next thing i did was call me credit card company and tell them there was fraudulent charges on my account. They said they would refund the charge, but there was no way to stop them from continuing to charge my account. Then, leanlook rx charged the account again, and i'm in the process of calling the credit card again to get the charges refunded, but how can i stop the charges. Hte credit card company said even if we cancelled the account it wouldn't change anything.
What do i do about the charges, and how can i stop them? If we can't stop them, what can i do about telling the credit checking people about the fraudulent charges?
Thanks,
Michael

Charges to your credit card
If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away.in this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge.in rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.
Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the consumer complaints. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
And good luck Let us know how you do!
