I will be filing a report agains Lean Life also. I enrolled in a trial membership of Lean Life, which I complied with the agreement and canceled in a timely manner and had no further charges.
Apparently that trial membership also included a trial membership to efitnessclubhouse.com. If there was any information regard that it flew by onscreen very quickly. They claim they follow up with a letter and emails, of which I never received any.
A charge appeared on my credit card which I inquired on and learned of this bogus membership. Some how I even had two accounts. I was able to cancel one, which you can do online only. But they would not reverse the charges. The second account would not even open. I complained to my credit card company and they started a disput claim.
Nine days later a second charge appears on my credit card, apparently the second account was now active only this one wouldn't even allow me to cancel online. I called and complained to eFitness Club House and to my credit card company and asked for the second amount to be disputed also.
I would have happily reviewed the efitnessclubhouse.com website and complied with the proper cancelation period if the information had been provided to me. I authorized Lean Life to make charges but not eFitness Clubhouse, that is what seems illegal about this whole thing.
