I got an email about a free bottle of hoodia. I started to fill in my address, etc. When it asked for a credit card number, I exited the site and didn't finish. I was called by Hoodia thin. They talked me into ordering the free bottle to try, stating it was a safe transaction, and I only paid for shipping. $5.95. I gave them my information. After I did, they said I would be receiving a two months supply for $99 two weeks after I received my bottle. I said NO. I don't want that. They said I could call and cancel within the two weeks. I asked for the number. Then I received an email with an address to cancel. I did it immediately. They said I would be charged for shipping, but wouldn't receive the product. I did receive the product. Then I got another call trying to get me to order another free bottle. I had to hang up on the guy. He would not accept no for an answer. Then I noticed a $28.97 charge on my checking account from ecurves. I called. They said I subscribed to it when I accepted the hoodia sample. I told them I was not told that, and knew nothing about it. He would not refund me, but said I could go online and cancel my membership to avoid future charges. He gave me the web page, my user name, and a password, which I knew nothing about. This is a SCAM!
