In 2003 I had a hair transplant with Medical Hair Restoration in Tampa, Florida. The hair grew within months, but was very thin. 12 months later I had a second procedure to fill in the area as full as possible.
As the months went on the hair was not growing and in fact I had lost most of the first procedure - this was explained as "shock loss", but I was told it would regrow.
By September, nothing had grown in or back. I was seen by their doctor in Tampa who said he would redo the procedure in December. Within a few weeks I received a letter from this office saying that this doctor had left and was replaced. I sent them a letter to confirm I could still have the procedure redone in December. They said they had no record of this.
Then I recieved a letter saying that office would no longer do hair transplants.
I was told by an online consultant that I could go to Orlando to have it done. I have since written numerous letters (sent certified mail) and received NO response.
The last letter to Dr. Matt Leavitt was received by his office on November 29. I have yet to hear from his office.
MHR has a guarantee for the hair to grow. I have been told by their online consultants that a refund is issued if the hair does not grow.
They are now ignoring all phone messages, emails and letters.
