A note to all those that have been victims of the Zymax scam:
I have not bought the product, but I know exactly what you are going through... Especially with the Customer Service Reps (CSR).
I used to work for a telemarketing company with placed orders for various infommercials and in-mail flyers. Trust me... YOUR COMPLAINTS ARE NOT UNUSUAL.
I don't know if the company that I worked for placed orders for the company that "sells" Zymax... But from experience the treatment you receive from the CSRs is exactly what they teach us to do on the phone.
When customers call to complain the SUPERVISORS tells us to just tell the customer anything to get them off the phone since the company is not paid as much to hear from a person complaining then from one that is placing an order. If the customer refuses to accept the info that we a required to give, then we are to offer the toll-free customer number that is supposed to go to the actual company.
Then later the customer calls the order center again to complain that the no one answered the toll-free number or something else.
To be entirely honest... Just about every company that we placed orders for had complaints like you have posted for the Zymax company. I used to feel terrible that I had to lie to the victimized customer, AND I still feel bad to know that it is still going on.
