I bought a veterinary pet insurance for my two pets three years ago and never had to used it. Last month one of them was attacked and hurt and I had to pay the veterinary around three hundred and fifty dollars because the laceration was really big and they even had to leave a drain. I sent the claim to the VPI PET Insurance. When I got the claim back I was refunded $77 dollars.
The scam is that they convince you that your pet needs to be covered because of any emergency and that they cover 90%of the services. However then win the policy you get a services benefit schedule with prices. Everything looks fine. What you don't know is that those benefits are not even a fourth of what a veterinarian normally charges.in top of that you have to pay a $50 dollars deductible.
