After watching the 60 min. Special on the Hoodia Cactus as a diet product I purchased this so called "Desert Burn" product and it did nothing at all for me or my husband. He actually gained 4 pounds the week that he took the "Desert Burn".
I bought "Desert Burn" because they were listed number One on "The Hoodia Report" thehoodiareport.com However if you take a closer look you will see that the so called "Hoodia Report" is run by the same people who own "Davis Biotech" They listed themselves as Number One! This is a total scam!
I emailed them and they wrote me back that "This is a new product and we can make no claims as to whether or not it will work for you. After hearing the anecdotal evidence we found the best source material available and offer a quality product to you the customer to try and evaluate for yourself."
That's Bull crap! My Husband who works at a major lab decided to run a test on it to see if it was real or not and guess what he discovered? It's not "Hoodia Gordonii" it is however an extract of some sort of cactus. The same crap that was being sold out of China but it's definitely not "Hoodia Gordonii Succulent"
Also here is some interesting information about Davis Biotech. They have an Alaska address, a Los Angeles Fax & a New Jersey telephone number.
