I had the experience from, the Holiday inn was an unforgettable experience and I mean this in a negative way. Let me cover this fiasco in a brief detailed summary. I booking into the holiday inn for 8 days, I was quoted about R 13000.00 and was deducted R16000.00. I queried this with the management staff and they did not know how to rectify the problem. If took days for this to be fixed, I was then refunded for the full total, why I dont know and they as I checked out I was billed a R 17000.00 again. At this point I am sitting at the airport about to flight to LAX when I ran out of funds. At this point I was furious and decided to cancel my LAX trip and go back home and resolve this issue. Until now the Hotel has not rectified the issue and I logged an complaint with head office, its clear there is no accountability and they just don't care about there guest.
I will have to log a case with my bank against and get my money back from the holiday inn and open a dispute with the Auditor general.
To the public: do not stay at the holiday inn you will regret - they in the business of making money not servicing guest.
