I stayed at the Garden Inn Omaha for a business trip about a month ago and on checkout they charged me for my meals etc. Which was fine, the room charge was to be billed to the company. More than a week later I saw a number of authorizations against my account for varied amounts by the Hilton, luckily I keep my credit balance low so these were declined (at a cost!). It turns out that there was an issue with the payment my company, so instead of calling me to verify or even notify me, the Hilton just haphazardly authorized against my account. I emailed them and was promised a response within 72 hours, now more than a week later no one has answered my questions or bothered to give me any feedback on what has happened, or an apology for the havoc they wreaked on my account, but they want me to confirm details so they can get paid. They did however thank me for approaching them as they didn't know how to contact me, despite the fact that they capture your contact number and other details at check-in, or the fact that a travel agent booked the room originally supplying all her details to the Hilton. What shocking service, from a company that is supposed to be providing a 'superior' offering
