I just received my cell phone bill from FIDO. The bill shows 4 X $5.00 = $20.00 for " MUSIC QUIZ - *64242" by a third party "2waytraffic". I am receiving unsolicited text messages with a music quiz. Everytime I delete the message right away without doing anything else. My cellphone is not even set up for text messages.
I contacted FIDO and they claim that they can not do anything about this scam, but they are sending the me the bill anyway. How can these fraud artists be stopped? I phoned the number I received from FIDO which is also shown on the bill. I asked for corporate information of 2waytraffic and the country of their head office. They referred me to a web site mypengocms.com. Which has no information. The operator claimed she did not know where the company is located.
