I got halfway through registering to win a $1000 gift card on a pop-up website one day. I decided it was too long a process, and I closed the window in question, but I had already given my cell phone number.
I am now receiving daily text messages that apparently are costing me $1.25 each.
I called 2WayTraffic, and spoke to "Darryl". Darryl advises not only do they not have any way to cancel or refund these fees, but there is nobody else at the call centre that has the power to do so, nor is there any point in him transferring my call. He refused repeatedly to allow me to speak with anyone else, and he eventually hung up on me.
