My wife and I saw an offer for a new mattress set that came with a 23" TV headboard and 2 pillows. We were just looking for a new King mattress set. When I called the Boise Store (RC Willey) I told the salesman if you have in stock I would like to purchase and I would like free delivery and a mattrees pad thrown in. I do not need the other items in the offer. He said he could not do that and explained why. I re-stated what I would like and acknowledged what he had told me. His response was " I don't think I want to to do business with you, you are too demanding and I am not going to go to my manager about your request. I have been working here a long time" I asked why he was getting so emotional about my negotiating and he told me I was demanding again and from the 80's. Age discrimination? I was simply asking for what I wanted and how could I be demanding when I was willing to trade a TV, headboard for free delivery and a mattress pad? Too make a long story short, he refused to work with me, made me call his manager who was not available and was completely rude to me. RC Willey... Do you realize you have team members working for you who are representing your company this way? There is way too much competition out there for me to even provide a second chance. The ironic thing is I searched reviews for RC Willey when I was looking for a new matress and found several negative experiences. The research proved right. Hey RC Willey... in the words of your Boise store salesman, "I don't think I want to do business with you" Oh, and by the way, you can bet I wil share this retail experience every opportunity I can get.
