Defective Couch

On February 9th I bought a brand new sofa from Macy Furniture Shop, 4130 Gandy Blvd, Tampa, Fl 33611.

It had been produced by Alan White and was a sectional having a sofa along with a cuddler area. Content: Microfiber

I bought the warranty and settled an overall total of 1732.06.

Roughly, 10-11 weeks later, 2 pillows about the sofa split in the joints. I named Macy Furniture shop and talked to my sales advisor Monica Quiding. I had been informed that Macy no further offered this kind of sofa. Ms. Quiding explained that she might deliver me some alternative pillows or I really could get another sofa of equivalent benefit.

I had been informed that I'd two faulty pillows and also the replacement pillows might correct my issue. When I preferred the sofa and was guaranteed the new cushions wouldn't be faulty I decided to have Macyis deliver fresh pillows.

Presently, the sofa pillows are constantly breaking. I will have two back pillows which have split in the joints plus one chair pillows which are divided.

I investigated Alan White 2006 furniture and evidently there is some poorly/faulty furniture built.

On December 31 I approached Macy's customer support and talked to some boss "Bau" and was provided a 400.00 gift-card like a courtesy. I told Bau that I settled an overall total (fees/guarantee) 1732.06 to get a faulty sofa so when I named under warranty I had been guaranteed by Purchase Advisor Ms. Quiding the replacement pillows might correct the issues. Bau provided me a 400.00 giftcard. I discussed that to repair this sofa it'd significantly more than 400.00. Bau explained he'd contact me on 01-02-09.

On 01-02-09, Bau didn't contact. I named Bau and was informed he no further worked within the division along with a speech concept offered me another quantity.

I called a person support #1-800-726-4213.

I talked to Jay Lee at customer support. I again discussed that I had been offered faulty furniture and that I was calling to correct this issue. Jay Lee set me on-hold and spoke to some boss 'Stacy'.

Afar time for the telephone, Jay Lee explained that Macy wouldn't correct my issue whilst the furniture was from guarantee. I expected to talk to Stacy. Stacy (boss) mentioned that Macy's wasn't likely to correct my issue because they delivered me fresh pillows in 2007. I told Stacy the sofa was faulty and also the cushions delivered didn't correct the issue of breaking pillows. Stacy declined to provide any reconciliation (i.E. Store credit). I described to Stacy that on December 31, Bau was provided 400.00 shop credit-which I rejected when I need to possibly repair the sofa (more than 1000.00) or substitute the sofa (more than 1000.00).

Stacy mentioned she'd need to keep in touch with additional boss Bau as she'd no report of the present. After being placed on store for 10 moments, Stacy delivered and confirmed the 400.00 present.

I told Stacy that I had been offered a faulty sofa that after approximately three years has big seam breaks on 3 pillows and at 400.00 gift-card won't resolve the issues.

I've required a sofa of equivalent worth to displace the faulty sofa that Macy offered me when I was Ms. Quiding plainly mentioned that I DID SO not need a faulty sofa instead I'd a few pillows that required changing.

Presently, the issue has reoccurred. I've pictures of the 3 pillows and also the it obviously exhibits again breaking of joints.

At almost no time did anybody advise it was a manufacturer flaw instead, I had been informed the replacement pillows might resolve my issue. I'm today quit having a sofa with 3 big seam splits. I've pictures.
