Ashley delivered my sofa with Chaise (Gander Thunder Sectional with right facing chaise, SKU: U8130617) on August 12. It is a beautiful color and style. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving! To make the "tucks" in the seat cushions, they cut holes in the middle of the cushion and then place a plastic piece in the hole to make a tuck in the cushion. One of the tucks is exactly where one sits on the chaise. Guess what a hole in the middle of material does!? It weakens the material structurally! FYI, in building materials, the creation of holes in materials are strictly regulated because of the weakening of structural integrity. So far, 10/31, the customer service tells me their is nothing they can do. Why not replace the cushion with one without holes!? Design engineers should be fired!
